Privacy policy

REACT is an early-stage drinks project. This page explains what we do with the details you give us.

Who controls your data

REACT is the data controller. The registered company name and registered office address must be added here once the company is incorporated. Until then, privacy requests can be sent to drinkreact@outlook.com.

Owner action required: provide the registered company name and address after incorporation so this notice can be completed.

What we collect

When you join the first-drop list we store your email address and, if you give them, your first name, postcode area, the occasion you picked and the price you said you would expect to pay. Venue enquiries store the contact details you type into that form.

Why we use it and our legal basis

To email you about the first drop and what we are building, and to understand where and how people would drink Fishbowl. Our legal basis for marketing is your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box and may withdraw at any time. We use information supplied in venue or investor enquiries to respond to steps you asked us to take and for our legitimate interest in managing genuine business enquiries.

How long we keep it

First-drop details are kept until you withdraw consent, or until 12 months after the first commercial launch or the project closes, whichever happens first. Venue and investor enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after the last contact. Short-lived anti-spam records are kept for up to 30 days. We may retain the minimum information needed to honour an unsubscribe request.

Sharing

We do not sell your details. They are held in our managed database and shared with Resend, our email service provider, only where needed to send confirmations and messages you have agreed to receive. Service providers may process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.

Your UK GDPR rights

You have the right to be informed, to access your personal data, to correct inaccurate data, to request erasure, to restrict processing, to data portability, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have rights relating to automated decision-making and profiling; REACT does not use your data to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

To exercise a right, unsubscribe, or ask us to delete your details, email drinkreact@outlook.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
